“Fiona was a massive support and source of great advice throughout my UCAS application.”
“In April this year my son had lost his way a bit with his revision for his GCSEs and his predicted grades after the mocks were quite a lot lower than they had been at the start of year 11.
Fiona saw him for his first session and I sat in with them – and suddenly a light bulb seemed to go on his brain. She gave him options of different methods that he might try to revise and he found the Cornell method and using flashcards really helped. He went onto have 4 more sessions before his exams started.
His confidence grew and he ended up with really great results – including three 8s, three 7s and two 6s. We were delighted.
Fiona was excellent and proved to us that finding a way to revise that suits the student is really important. Thank you Fiona and Student Navigator!”

My son benefited massively from working with Fiona. He secured offers from all 5 of the universities he applied to including Cambridge.
During his first meeting with Fiona, she expertly guided him to reflect upon his interests and she used coaching techniques to make a shortlist of universities and courses that he would enjoy and could attend based on his predicted grades – Fiona’s knowledge of the UCAS system is first-rate.
Once my son decided upon a shortlist of courses Fiona supported him to write a personal statement and I believe it was this process that secured all of his offers. Fiona expertly helped him
to devise a structure for his personal statement that made him stand out and he enjoyed writing it –
Thank you, Fiona.

I received support from Fiona for my medicine application for 2 years. During the two years Fiona was extremely helpful in
providing me with all the information I needed for the application process as well as being very supportive throughout.
I received lots of support with planning my personal statement. I also received support with the admissions test, both of these helped to secure me an interview. Once I had my interview Fiona helped me to prepare and even set up a mock interview for me which was extremely helpful and resulted in a successful interview. As well as supporting me through my application
Fiona helped me make important decisions such as my A level choices and helped me to revise for my GCSEs. Fiona helped
me to structure my revision time and taught me various different revision techniques which were very useful when revising for
both my GCSEs and A levels. I would definitely recommend her support.

Fiona at Student Navigator was recommended as someone who could support me through my A level year and the university application process. We either met in person or over zoom every few weeks (I could always contact her in between these times if I needed to) and Fiona’s support and input were invaluable for helping me achieve the grades I needed to get into my first choice University. She kept me calm and gave me direction when all the revision was overwhelming and guided me on how to structure the best personal statement I could. Fiona was always professional, kind, knowledgeable, encouraging and I’m so pleased we found her. Thank you Fiona!
Year 13 student
I am very thankful for all of Fiona’s support and guidance as I prepared to submit my UCAS application and go through the interview process. Fiona helped me to decide which five universities I would apply to and for some of these, which colleges to specify, based on the criteria
that are important to me. With Fiona's input and guidance, I was able to structure a personal statement that was well received by universities, leading to multiple offers.
My refined personal statement and the interview practice that Fiona arranged for me propelled me to gain a place at my first university choice. I can highly recommend Fiona to anyone who is planning to apply to
university.

Gap year UCAS student
“When our son decided to study medicine we didn’t realise how hard it would be to get an offer. Achieving a high UCAT score is essential and also applying strategically as each Medical school applies different criteria. This is where Fiona’s expertise is so invaluable. She went though all of our son’s preferences and application and cross checked these with criteria for each medical school. This maximised his chances of being selected for interview. The application process is a
rollercoaster but resulted in a place at our son’s preferred university. We were grateful for Fiona’s input and advice.”
